Inverted Pyramid Monolith

A quick project to practice creating a completed asset from beginning to end within a short amount of time, like an art test. I envisioned the gem to hold the power of all magnetic energy on Earth, which powers the constructed monolith and keeps the magnetic fields stabilized. I hand painted the diffuse in Photoshop and made quick adjustments to create the separate spec, gloss, and emissive maps. Lights and presentation were done in Marmoset.
